Heading South

We had the opportunity to travel to the south for my cousin, Zach's wedding in Fairhope, AL. We flew into New Orleans on Thursday night, had an awesome breakfast at Willa Jean and then drove to Fairhope. 

I was not sure what to expect in Fairhope but it was a small, charming town with great shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the park, splash pad, and pier while we were there. 

The rehearsal dinner was at the Fairhope Yacht Club. The views were amazing. 

Saturday morning we hung out at the playground and walked to the pier. Jae got to play with Emmy and Charlotte. 

Oyster lunch on the pier and Kellen hung out with Kyle and the fisherman. 

Zach and Erin's wedding was gorgeous. We had so much fun celebrating, eating, drinking and dancing. 

Sunday we headed back to New Orleans where Kellen ate more catfish and I ate more oysters at Acme Oyster House. We went to the Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium.  

Dinner Sunday night was at Borgne with Grandma Leigh and Kyle. Monday we rode the trolley to City Park for breakfast at Morning Call.

A very quick stop at Storybook Park.

Lunch and wandering around the French Quarter before heading to the airport.
