Kellen has been playing hookie on Fridays in February to take ski lessons. He was lucky enough to be the only kid signed up ready to use the lift so ended up having a private lesson. His skills have really improved but so has his confidence and he's more willing to take some risks. I enjoyed having a Friday off to go see him off.
While Kellen was skiing, we took Jae on the bunny hill. She was much more willing to participate than last time and really got the hang of things.
Saturday we took a break from the snow and went swimming. Jae was getting really good at back floats. I was super impressed!
On Sunday, Kellen got to go skiing with Grandma Leigh. It had been 25 years since she has been on skis. Kellen had a lot of fun!
Jae and I met everyone for lunch and then we got her back on skis one more time. She was really getting the hang of things!
I love President's Day weekend in the mountains so much. Yes, everyone in Colorado is up there but it is a much needed break at a crazy time of the year.
