Memorial Day Weekend! AKA, Kellen and Kona's birthday weekend. Kellen's birthday seems to be a week long affair this year. He brought cupcakes to school on Friday to celebrate with his friends.
Kellen turned 11 on Saturday! She celebrated with her own Starbucks and a new toy.
We spent a rainy Saturday afternoon at Cannonball Creek Brewery enjoying friends, beer and food trucks.
On Sunday, we tried something new and checked out the Colorado History Center. It was a great museum with lots of good stuff for kids.
Monday was finally Kellen's real birthday! He opened presents first thing.
We walked to Starbucks for breakfast, a treat for all of us.
The kids played for a long time with their new his and hers Razor Scooters.
Kellen had the best birthday dinner ever. Hacienda with BOTH Grandmas! We finished off the night with another birthday cake.
Such a fabulous, long weekend celebrating our favorite 5 year old!
