Be prepared for the most ADD post ever with tons of iphone pictures because I apparently don't ever use my good camera anymore.
We've had alot going on the past week or so. A typical January for us. The biggest development though is that Jae has started crawling. Last week she was just using her new skill to get Kellen's toys but over the past few days has figured out that she can move quickly through the house and get things like the pets, the dog water, etc.

Last week she was just using her new skill to get Kellen's toys but over the past few days has figured out that she can move quickly through the house and get things like the pets, the dog water, etc.
Kellen's teeth got a clean bill of health at the dentist. He was very well behaved for Dr. Tim which impressed us all because let's face it, Kellen was not the most pleasant to be around that week.
I had a nice 35th birthday and absolutely no pictures of it. We went to Hacienda for dinner with my mom and had yummy chocolate cake after. Steve and the kids got me a new diaper bag that I'm super excited about having. The evening was relatively low key because we had a flyball tournament all weekend. Jae and Kellen joined us on Saturday and Kellen stayed with Grandma Leigh Sunday.
Our little devil was very well behaved at the tournament. Kellen got in some serious screen time watching Planes three times.
On top of that, we had some friends staying at our house for a few days. Kellen and Asher (who turned 4 in October) played so well together. It was so nice having them be able to play together Monday and Tuesday.
I took Jae in for another ultrasound of her kidneys and the results show they are pretty much normal sized and functioning just fine so we will no longer need to follow up with that.
We also had our annual flyball demonstration at the Stockshow. The night went well and the dogs had fun playing flyball, again. I took the day off to participate in the demo so ended up with a four day weekend...so nice!
Jae has really been enjoying feeding her self and is totally showing us her cute personality. She is also close to pulling herself up on things.
Steve and I celebrated my birthday a week late with dinner at Linger. Such a fun restaurant, very casual and busy atmosphere. Had great food and drinks. Highly recommend it, especially if you want something different or have out of town dinner companions. We had Chili Paneer, Pho-Real Spring Rolls, Onion Soup Mussels, BBQ duck bun, pork belly bun and donuts and chai rice pudding for dessert. My drink, "the eulogy" was a yummy gin and lime concoction.
