Kellen has been really into fishing lately so I went with it for the theme of his birthday party. I started planning it before I had Jae since I knew things would get a little crazy and had lots of help this week finishing up the decorations and food. Luckily, I found great fishing themed ideas on Pintrest (usually for 40th+ birthday parties or retirement parties, I guess Kellen is an older man at heart).

We had sandwiches, salads and chips for lunch.

Besides our usual backyard toys, I bought a kiddie pool and plastic fishing set. The kids had so much fun in it, money well spent!

Kellen got some great gifts! Lots of games and puzzles, a stomp rocket, gift cards, bubbles, a football, trains, paints, and dinosaurs.

What a great party! We are lucky to have such great family and friends who could join us this holiday weekend. Kellen had so much fun with his friends (and I love hearing him call them that!) and is exhausted. Thank you everyone and Happy Birthday Kellen!
