Thankful for Family

This pretty much sums up the past week around here. Kellen has been making even the most fun things a challenge. I realize he is trying to get attention and we have not had any type of schedule going but I am struggling with keeping my cool. 

 Luckily, we have had lots of family around helping out and keeping Kellen preoccupied while Steve has been away for work. In fact, I am able to update the blog right now because Grandma T., Grandma Leigh, Grandma Clayburn and Grandpa Clayburn completely wore Kellen out yesterday and today so he passed out early and I have a moment to myself before going to bed. 

My Grandma and Grandpa Clayburn came into town last week. We had a nice time hanging out with them and got to enjoy some crab they brought from OR. Jae got lots of snuggles from her Great Grandparents and Kellen enjoyed playing outside with them in the warm weather. 

 

Jae has been really good. We've been going to bed around 10 and she can go until 3 or 4 am before needing to eat. The other night, she even made it until 5! She gets crabby at night before bed but can usually be calmed by nursing. I don't mind because I think it helps her sleep through the night. We have totally appreciated all the cute girly clothes we've gotten as  gifts and are enjoying dressing her up. 

We had a clogged sewer line this weekend that was luckily cleared out today without any major repair and only a little mess but it required neglecting our long to do list yesterday. Oh well, there's always next weekend.
