We have been settling in here at home. Steve has been home with me and is a HUGE help, especially with Kellen. I have felt better everyday and am able to help with house hold chores now, I just can't lift Kellen or drive yet. Jae was back up to birth weight on Thursday and was 9lbs 13oz yesterday when I met with a lactation consultant. She has been waking up once a night to nurse so we are getting a decent amount of sleep. She still likes to eat 24-7 during the day. I feel like by the time she is done eating, its time to start over again. Pretty exhausting but she is a growing girl and I know is doing what she needs to do. Hey, as long as she sleeps all night, she can eat as much as she wants during the day : )
Kellen is testing us...he pretty much ignores everything we say and ask him to do, he won't pee on the potty when we suggest it so is in diapers most of the time, bedtime is a disaster, and he wants to be carried everywhere. We're trying to be patient knowing that this was expected with all the changes. We have no schedule right now and we all thrive on schedules around here. My dad will be here tomorrow and my grandparents next week so we have a few more weeks before we can get into a routine. His speech and vocabulary is really taking off. He cracks us up with what he says everyday. I need to start writing some things down to share.
