We just finished Kellen's new room! All of the artwork is up and the bedding is complete. It has a dinosaur theme but I didn't want it throwing up cutesy dinosaurs so I think I've made it a little more subtle. And how many 2 year olds have a pet Leopard Gecko in their room?
Kellen has been a rock star sleeping in the big bed. He even stays somewhat covered now and we have graduated him from a sleepsack. He can climb in and out on his own no problem and has only fallen out once. We have to sit with him while he falls asleep but that process is getting faster and faster every night.
Since we converted Kellen's crib into a full bed and used all of his nursery furniture for his new room, the baby got a new set for their room. Everything in the baby room is the same except a different style of furniture (although, very similar). We have started the process of going through and washing Kellen's baby clothes and are filling up the drawers and closet. Now, if only Kellen was potty trained and we could stock the baby's diapers too.
I'm due in 8 weeks...eek!! I've been feeling pretty good and have gradually lightened up on my bootcamp class but still go twice a week. The baby tumbles around in my belly all day and night, I'm hoping it will end up head down soon so I don't have to have another c-section. We have settled on a boy's name (but its a secret) and are working on a girl's name. I'm assuming its a boy but Kellen wants a sister. My heartburn sucks and makes me not want to eat, the only thing that feels ok is ice cream...I can live on ice cream, right? I have a sub lined up at work to start April 2. I won't be going back to work this school year but will return in the fall. Kellen's last day of school will be March 22 (the director was a little shocked I was pulling him so soon but seriously, I'm not paying for daycare when I'm not getting a paycheck!). Anyways, all is falling into place!!

I love both rooms! In my experience, the older sibling is ALWAYS right, so I am officially changing my guess from boy to GIRL! I hope I can find a time to see you before that baby is born!
