Saturday we bundled up and headed to Fraser for our annual Christmas Tree cutting trip. Kellen was very excited to find a Christmas Tree and to play in the snow. He even surprised us by knowing a few Christmas songs on the way up (they must be practicing at school).
The dogs were beyond excited. I'm pretty sure this is their favorite day of the year.
We found one among a group of trees. Kellen was excited to get out of the backpack but frustrated that he couldn't quite walk around.
We got home, put up the tree and decorated. Kellen was a huge help. All of his ornaments are on the same branch and he keeps taking them off to play with them.
The finished product...not too bad!
This picture pretty much sums up the dogs' relationship with Kellen. Him and Trinity are buds and Kona stays as far away as possible.

It looks like such fun! What a great family tradition, getting the tree.
Kellen looks adorable all bundled up! I love cutting down a tree and am so bummed we missed doing that this year. Looks like so much fun with all that snow-how festive!
