We decided to road trip it to my dad's house near Elkhart, IN for spring break this year. We made it to Des Moines the first day and had a restful night there. The second day's drive wasn't too bad and made it to our final destination around 2:00. Kellen did well during the drive, he didn't sleep as much as I thought he would so we sat in back with him most of the time and entertained him with books and toys.

Kellen got to meet his step cousin, Korynn Wednesday night when Kristi and Nick had us over for dinner. Kellen played hard with Korynn. She will be a year old Sunday.

Korynn loved the camera, whenever I pulled it out she looked right at it and gave me a huge smile. So cute! 
It's no surprise that Kellen's schedule is pretty messed up. We are on east coast time and are sleeping in and going to bed late. He is nursing way more than normal and not eating as much food as usual. He is also way more clingy than I've ever seen him but over all is happy and having fun. If only we could get him to sleep. Tomorrow we will be driving to Omaha for a flyball tournament and "Spring Break Part 2."

Thanks for keeping us up to date Tonia. It looks like things are going well. I'm sure they are enjoying Kellen and yourselves. Have a safe drive over to Omaha.
