Kellen is 9 months old today!
Some new things Kellen can do this month include crawling (for real!), pulling himself up, taking steps, waving and giving kisses. His teachers at daycare taught him how to kiss so if you ask for one he'll give you an open mouth, slobbery kiss. Kellen plays hard and sleeps hard. He is great at entertaining himself as well. He really likes playing with his two activity tables. He also likes crawling around with toys in his mouth (kind of like a dog). Trinity and Kona still keep their distance but the cats are very tolerant of Kellen and Syndey will let him pull her hair and tail without much objection. Kellen loves to watch the dogs play.

Kellen is still eating two meals a day. Cereal and fruit for "brunch" and some veggies and meat for "dinner." We will be working on him eating "dinner" more consistently so he can get the extra nutrients he needs. He continues to nurse and take bottles every 3 hours. His gag refex is getting better and will feed himself puffs without any issues. Some new foods this month include zucchini, peas, carrots, green beans, apricots, and oatmeal. He has been sleeping really well at night but continues to fight naps at daycare. Kellen usually goes to sleep between 7:30 and 8:00 and we feed him one last time and put him to bed around 9:30.
Kellen is still very content and easy going. As long as he has some toys and something to chew on, he's happy. If he is crabby, it's usually because he's hungry or tired. It is very nice having a baby that is so predicable!

I would love to get a picture of Kellen crawling around with toys in his mouth! We need to get together, I feel like we've hardly seen you guys!
I love Kellen, seriously he is SO cute. And does it come as any surprise to you that Macky has that exact same outfit? Ha! We need to go shopping together :-) He sounds like a dream baby, good job Kellen and good job Mama!
