Trains

Saturday was Pierce's 4th birthday party at Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden. The party was in a train car and then we were able to ride a train and wander around looking at all the trains. The kids all had so much fun, definitely a great place for a birthday party.

It was fun looking at all the trains and I'm sure will be a great place to visit in a few years when Kellen goes through his train phase.

And and update on Kellen since I feel like he changes so much each week....

We've noticed a little growth spurt. His feet have gotten much bigger, shoes we've been saving fit now and his old shoes have been put in storage. His hair is growing and I have to brush it in the morning now. Its very light with some hit of red in it. Most of his 6-12 month clothes don't fit anymore. He is still not crawling but gets on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth, launching himself forward. He is so close but we joke with his teachers at daycare that he is so good at rolling around there is no need for him to crawl. Just this week, he can stand at his activity tables steadily without needing us to hang on to him. He also likes to bounce now in his exersaucer. New foods include chicken, apples, prunes, and peaches. He doesn't seem to like eating when I feed him but is a bottomless pit at daycare eating 16 oz of milk, 2 oz of fruit, and a bowl of cereal. Sometimes at night we can get him to eat some veggies and meat. Kellen is getting good at communicating. He whines when we aren't giving him enough attention, he cries when we take something away from him, and the cutest new milestone is he looks for things/people when they leave.

Lots going on this week. Today, we have a flyball party and a birthday dinner with my family. Tuesday we'll be at the stockshow in the stadium area playing flyball from 5:00-7:30.
