Six Months!

Kellen is 6 months old today!

Watch out, Kellen's on the loose! The biggest change this month is how strong Kellen is getting. He can sit up pretty steadily, he can wiggle and roll his way around a room, and can get up on his hands and knees. Its just a matter of time before he starts crawling. I think Kellen was a little late jumping on the feet bandwagon but now he loves to stick them in his mouth especially when we're changing his diaper. He loves to play with anything that he can put in his mouth, hit, kick, or press to make noise. This includes his beloved activity mat, his exersaucer, his sit and stand music/noise maker, blocks, rings, teethers, rattles, you name it. Kellen has his two bottom front teeth in. They seem to bother him every once in a while but over all teething hasn't been too bad. Any thing goes for Kellen, he will let us take him anywhere and do anything to him without complaining. We have a doctor's appointment Monday and and anxious to see how much Kellen weighs now. He is still being exclusively breast fed but we'll probably start some solids this weekend while we have some time off. He is definitely showing signs of being ready. He is very interested in our food and drink. He has also started eating an extra 4 oz of milk during the day while at daycare (he takes 18 oz total there!).
