Happy Birthday Trinity
Friday was Trinity's 6th birthday. She didn't really have a great day, the highlight was probably being rescued from the vet. Her surgery went well, the ligament in her knee wasn't torn too badly. In fact, if she wasn't such an active dog we probably wouldn't even have noticed it bothering her. The joint has been altered and the ligament will no longer be necessary. For anyone interested, here is a description of the TPLO surgery she had and why it was necessary. She is a little whiney and disoriented but still tried to chase the neighbor kids in the street last night during a potty break. She is on some heavy pain meds for the next few days and then will go back to the vet in 2 weeks to have her stitches removed. Until then, the x-pen in the family room is her "room."
