I've fallen off the blogging wagon but when thinking about winter, skiing comes to mind! We spent tons of time in January, February and March up in the mountains and skiing at Copper Mountain. Kellen and Steve had season passes, Kellen took 2 full day lessons, Jae took a full day lesson and was in the Trailblazers program which consisted of 4 1/2 day lessons, and between my 5 pack and lesson, I was able to ski 6 times this year.
We really enjoyed watching the kids improve this year. Kellen is becoming more and more confident and starting to work on his turns. By the end of the season, he was skiing difficult blues with Steve. Jae did a great job of listening to her instructors and could easily ride the chair lift up and ski down easy greens by the end of her lessons.
When we weren't skiing, we were busy tubing, sledding and hiking in the snow. Vega decided the snow was pretty cool and did a great job hiking off leash with us. Our visitor, Ginger also decided the snow wasn't so bad after all and got adventurous on our hikes.
