Thanksgiving in Salida

We had a very special Thanksgiving Break this year. We started off the week swimming with Pierce, Kai and Grandma T. at APEX Center. All 4 kids had so much fun swimming.

Kellen woke up one morning saying his tooth was loose. After playing with it for a few hours, it popped out. Can't believe how easy and fast that happened! Kellen was very excited to get $5 from the tooth fairy to spend how ever he wanted.

Grandpa Dave came into town and we took him to the Zoo. The Lion cubs had just been released into the yard to see. What a treat!

Jae loves the otter pups and could watch them all day long.

Thanksgiving morning, we drove to Salida. It was nice spending time with Grandma Givan, Paula, Michele and Woody. We had a great dinner and played lots of games.

It snowed Thursday night and the town was gorgeous in a fresh layer of snow. Woody, Meadow and I went for a little run through town.

 Paula and Jae reading books.

A tradition that we finally got to be a part of...the lighting of the mountain. It was snowy and cold but so much fun.

Kellen finally spent his tooth fairy money on a wind up fishing game.
