Summer Part 1

Summer vacation is in full swing. After returning from Michigan, we hung out at the zoo for a week while Kellen was in Summer Safari. His 1/2 day K-1st Grade camp was all about animal super powers (adaptations). Kellen LOVED camp and enjoyed telling us all about it. While Kellen was in camp, Jae and I ran around City Park with friends, looked at lots of animals, did some shopping and went out to breakfast.

Mac was also in Summer Safari but in a different class so him, Kellen and Jae walked around the zoo together one day after lunch.

Our first stop on the 2015 Beers for Fears tour - Alpine Dog.

We celebrated Father's Day with brunch at Wild Eggs.

I finally took Kellen to see Dinosaur Ridge. We have dinosaur fossils just miles from our house...how cool is that?!? It was about a 2.5 mile walk to see footprints and bones.

We met Grandma Leigh at SPLASH to swim. Both kids are total fish and exhausting to take swimming.

Enjoying the splash pad at Discovery Park.

We spent the last weekend of June in the mountains to participate in a flyball demo at Coppers Gone To The Dogs. Besides playing flyball, Trinity and I ran a 5K, the kids played on the playground and sandbox, and we rented bumper boats.
