We got up early Saturday to get up to Winter Park at a decent hour to cut down our Christmas Tree. Kellen was very excited. Our big girl Jae, got turned around in her car seat in the hopes of preventing her from getting car sick.
Pre hiking, when everyone was still in a good mood. We had to leave Trinity at home this year because she hurt her leg this week and can barely walk on it. Kona had lots of fun though.
Jae got to ride on my back while Steve pulled Kellen up the mountain in the sled. We were one of the first ones up this year and had to break trail. We definitely got a good workout in.
We made Kellen hike though the snow as we were trying to find a tree. He got frustrated real fast and gave up.
We found a great tree.
While we were packing up, Kellen and Jae ate their lunch in the car. Knowing that Jae's lunch would come back up as we were coming down Berthud Pass, makes it a little less cute.
Kellen got to light the tree!
Kellen wasn't too fond of cutting down the tree but though decorating was really fun.
The finished product after a much needed bath.
