Today was Kellen's 4th birthday party. We had a space themed party at a park in Wheat Ridge. The park is awesome and it was nice to have a party somewhere other than our house. The weather cooperated (just barely), we had to put up with a few sprinkles and some wind.
The goodie bag table had some "asteroid" cake pops, "planet" malted milk balls, "saturn's ring" gummies, and "star"bursts. For lunch, we had black bean and carnitas burritos warmed in the cooler, fruit rockets and chips and guacamole.
Kellen's friends had fun playing on the playground, in the sand and launching stomp rockets. We bought 3 different stomp rockets for the party and the boys LOVED them. Best toy ever.
All of the kids went home sugared up and filthy...a successful party, I think!
Poor Jae didn't get her morning nap so fell asleep during the festivities. She is such a trooper and loved the burritos and cake.

You throw such good parties! We all had a great time. Tim said you are the only person who goes more over the top than me with kid's parties. I would take that as a compliment ;) Happy Birthday to Kellen!
