Jae's Eleven Months Old!

Jae is Eleven Months Old Today!

I'm not sure February should really count as a month, it went by way too fast and things haven't changed too much. 

Jae is an expert at crawling and pulling/pushing her self up to stand. She has just started taking a few steps and cruising around furniture. She loves to clap, wave, dance, and talk. In our eyes, she is such a girl! She can say "mama," "dada," "uh oh," "thank you," and "kitty." She is very curious about things and will point and say "da?" to just about anything. 

Aside from a snotty nose, Jae has been pretty healthy the past few weeks. She had a few bad nights when her 8th tooth popped through her lower gums but other than that is still a great sleeper. We have a bedtime routine with her now. I usually nurse her around 7:00 and she passes out for the night. I wish she'd stay up a little longer and play but since she doesn't nap, she gets her beauty rest at night, I guess.

Jae is enjoying feeding herself and will eat pretty much anything. She is eating some fruit and cereal in the mornings, puree and finger food for lunch and the same for dinner. We're trying to feed her our dinner more and more which makes things easier. She is still nursing well and has 5 feedings a day.

We're quickly approaching a year! We have a spring break vacation planned and a first birthday bash coming up. Can't wait for spring and to see what lies ahead.
