Vegas!

We had some United vouchers that expired in July and were determined to not let them go to waste so Vegas it was! When you're pregnant, there isn't much to do there other than eat so eat we did. The highlight of the trip was dinner at Craftsteak. We had the wagyu chef's menu and it was amazing; shrimp cocktail, 3 different salads, a sirloin, a ribeye, mashed sweet potatoes, broccoli, mushroom risotto, monkey bread, sorbet, chocolate cake....YUM!! I also have to say that we ate lunch one day at Todd English's Pub and ordered a bucket full of house made pickles...AWESOME!
All the casinos were decked out for Chinese New Year. Here are pics from the Bellagio.

We stayed at the Vdara hotel in City Center. It was great - no casino, no smoking, no crowds, and brand new. We have stayed in some pretty sketchy hotels traveling with the dogs so it was so nice to have a room that we wanted to hang out in. Here are some pics of the room and the view from the room. We were on the 48th floor and could see the Bellagio fountains!

Sunday night we ate at the Bellagio buffet, which brought back memories of JD and Alison's wedding and then we saw Cirque Du Soleil "The Beatles Love." It's the first Cirque Du Soleil we've seen and it was great!
It was a great trip and confirmed that any more than 3 days in Vegas is too many.
