Christmas Tree

We ended up cutting down our tree today, its a little earlier than we would have liked but we have a flyball tournament next weekend and Steve will be out of town the 2 weekends after that so today was the day. Luckily JD, Alison, Haylie, Deaglan, and Adalynn were up for cutting their tree down today too (well, maybe not so much Adalynn). The weather was nice and there wasn't much snow. Even though the Elk Creek area near Frasier wasn't open yet we were able to park near the exit and hike in to get our tree.

Steve and Alison hauling the trees back. Poor Alison had to carry a very upset Adalynn too while JD pulled Deaglan and Haylie down in the sled. Our tree was WAY too tall. It would have been perfect in our old house but we ended up cutting 8 1/2 feet off when we got home. It is really full and healthy though.

Decorating the tree is about all the Christmas I could handle this early. We'll get the other decorations up in the next week.
